What people often ask us.
Is it really private?
Yes. A Cherish Us event is never public: no directory, no search-engine indexing, no viewable profile. Only the people you invite have access, and you can revoke access at any time.
Do my guests have to install the app?
No. Replying to the invitation happens from a simple link, in the browser. The app adds something on the day — chat, shared gallery, event book — but it stays optional.
Is it free?
Organising a full event is free, and the mobile app is always free for your guests. Only the organiser can choose to move their event to Premium, for advanced personalisation (themes, templates, passport): it's a per-event purchase, never a subscription, and never something your guests have to pay for. During the beta, everything is free.
How do I join the beta?
Cherish Us is in private beta: creating an account requires an access code, which we give to the organisers we support. Write to us to request an invitation — sign-ups will open to everyone at launch.
Are my photos mine?
They remain your property. We don't sell them, and we don't use them for advertising or to train models. You can export or delete them whenever you like.
Is the app available on Android?
The beta opens on iOS, and the Android version follows shortly after. In the meantime, your Android guests access everything from the web — invitation, RSVP, schedule, gallery.
Can I organise something other than a wedding?
Cherish Us is built for all private events — birthdays, baby showers, christenings, family gatherings. We're starting by perfecting the wedding end to end.
