What people often ask us.
Is it really private?
Yes. A Cherish Us event is never public: no directory, no search-engine indexing, no viewable profile. Only the people you invite have access, and you can revoke access at any time.
Do my guests have to install an app?
No, nothing to install. Everything happens from a private link, in the browser: the invitation, the reply, the schedule, the venue. A dedicated guest app is in the works; it will add something on the day, and will stay optional.
Is it free?
Planning an event in full is free, and replying to an invitation always is for your guests. Only the organiser can choose to take their event Premium, for advanced customisation (themes, templates, passport): it's a one-off purchase per event, never a subscription, and never something your guests have to pay for. During the beta, everything is free.
How do I join the beta?
Cherish Us is in private beta: creating an account requires an access code, which we give to the organisers we support. Write to us to request an invitation — sign-ups will open to everyone at launch.
Are my photos mine?
They remain your property. We don't sell them, and we don't use them for advertising or to train models. You can export or delete them whenever you like.
Will there be a mobile app?
Yes, it's planned — iOS first, then Android. In the meantime, your guests access everything from the web: invitation, RSVP, schedule, venue and where to stay.
Can I organise something other than a wedding?
Cherish Us is built for all private events — birthdays, baby showers, christenings, family gatherings. We're starting by perfecting the wedding end to end.
